Snake Fountain

This article is about building a snake fountain

that I made from used components:

I used:

- car windscreen washer tap,

- 6 mm hose,

- water pumps,

- four 1.5 V D batteries,

- 6 V D battery harness (four 1.5 V D batteries)

Step 1: Make the Protection Circuit

You should never connect the water pump in reverse. Otherwise it might fail. This is why I borrowed this Schottky diode protection circuit from my friend:

Schottky diode are similar to normal diodes,

except they have low forward bias voltage.

Step 2: Make the Fountain

I drilled a hole in a old food container and inserted

the 6 mm hose thought the hole.

Then I attached the water tap from my old car.

Step 3: Testing
